So far there has been a lot of talk about the economy, but some feel the candidates are shying away from the issue of immigration. Of course that’s not the only thing that matters in this election. Soon Roy Delgado will be blogging here and looking for your comments.

Do you have any questions for him? Topics you hope he will address? Start the ball rolling and let him know how you’d like to begin.

I live in San Bernardino County, CA. Last year I was involved with a local philanthropy
which helped school age children elible for the federal free lunch program with
dentistry and school clothing. It appeared that the recipients were predominately
children of undocumented workers. Are there any statistics showing how much is spent per
capita in excess of government programs for assistance to undocumented workers’
families? Can anyone get any of the candidates to address this issue?

Prince William County Virginia created an exodus of illegal migrants, which resulted in their migration to other Virginia counties. Crime went down in Prince William and went up in the other counties, specifically, Fairfax County Virginia. No one seems to have a handle on whether or not the crime stats in parts of Virginia outside of Prince William County add up to the total decrease in Prince William County. All illegals are not from Latin America, although Mexico appears to be the primary gateway into the USA for many of them, reardless of nationality.
